WBOA Aims to:
bring members and their families into contact with each other and the general community;
enable members to help each other through guidance and discussion and;
connect with clients before and/or after stoma surgery.

Wide Bay Ostomates Association is a voluntary not for profit organisation who has been operating since 1992.
Our dedicated Volunteer Management Committee members are elected annually from and by members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) usually held in November each year.
With one dedicated paid Office Manager, we also rely heavily on our volunteers who are the backbone of our organisation. Our volunteers undertake a variety of tasks from stock control and ordering and packing and reception and administration.
